Tips on wearing southwestern prints:

  • Unsure? Start small! – Try a printed scarf!
  • Choose Classic Shapes – For crazy prints, stick with traditional silhouettes.
  • Neutralize – Pair the print with a neutral, like a nude shoe, to anchor the look.
  • Upgrade! –  Combine the print with black for a chic upgrade or play up the prints’ rugged vibe with denim. Keep the rest of your look simple.
  • Accessorize! – These prints look great with textured baubles and beaded accessories.

*Over the $50 limit, but still manageable.

    • I agree with your suggestion. I tend to gravitate toward more traditional and classic clothing that will be around for awhile, but when a trend like this pops up and I actually like it, I might buy a few pieces for a couple of bucks. Though quite often some of these trends come back in style years later. This one for instance, I saw in the 90s for a moment, but it wasn’t as bold as it is now. I do hope this one comes back around again though. I quite like it! 🙂
