Project Runway Season 9 Episode 7

The Challenge: In two teams of five, the designers must create their own prints to create a signature collection. They must also create a video to accompany the collection.

Guest Judges: Rose Byrne (actress) and Rachel Roy (designer)

Team 1: Anthony, Anya [Challenge Winner], Bryce, Olivier, and Viktor

Team 2: Josh M., Laura, Bert, Kimberly, and Becky

My Top 3: Anya (Her dress is gorgeous. The print and the cut in the back is very classy), Viktor (His dress was gorgeous, and not too over the top. Love), Kimberly (The only one who was smart enough NOT to use her teams’ prints being that they were elementary at best. Her outfit was very reflective of her style. I do think the skirt is too short though, but at least she eventually realized that.)

My Bottom 3: Becky (The jacket was cute and the top was a nice color, but the skirt was boring. The entire look was actually very boring), Bert (The print was ugly and I don’t really like the length of the dress or the way he styled it), Laura (I hated the whole thing and the belt addition was terrible)

Like: Anthony Ryan (The skirt was beautiful and the printed top was cute, but I hated that red bolo tie thing he had on the model), Olivier (The jacket was amazing! The pants were not. They actually made her butt look a little flat if you ask me.)

In-Between: Josh M. (I liked the top, but the print on the pant was disappointing), Bryce (His look like totally reminded me of high school! Isn’t that what the kids are wearing nowadays? Not very sophisticated…)
