“Katy On A Mission” – Katy B.
I’ve had this track rotating on my ipod since the middle of the spring season. It’s a great song to play during a workout or during your morning prep. Truthfully, everytime I listen to it, it gets better.
Her album, On A Mission, was already released in Britain earlier this year to wide acclaim putting her on the path to become what music critics refer to as a different kind of pop star. Before earning a degree in popular music from Goldsmiths College in London, Katy B graduated from London’s BRIT School, a school for the arts whose alumni include the late Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and Katy’s classmates Jessie J and Adele. Now, she’s joining her schoolmates by trying her luck in the U.S. as well. So what do you think of this song? Hot or not? Do you think she could be successful in the U.S.?
